Jesse Blaze Snider
Singer / Songwriter / Producer
Hired out of college by MTV, the award winning song writer, Jesse Blaze Snider helped shape the music taste of a generation working with AOL Music, Fuse and as a DJ in New York on WLIR. Later, his ability to make the words on a teleprompter screen sound “real” made Jesse an almost overnight success in the field of voice over acting. Quickly becoming “the voice” of Gamestop, Cheetos and Pizza Hut in under a year.
A move to Los Angeles in 2012 would open Jesse to even more opportunity. By 2013, he was “the voice” of KIA Motors, live announcer for Spike’s Video Game Awards, weekly narrator for “Food Paradise” on Travel Channel, scoring multiple roles in the Final Fantasy and Call of Duty video game franchises and getting him leading roles in various animated projects.
His entertainment career is diverse to say the least, but Jesse has continuously pursued his one true love…writing.
To date he has written songs for ESPN Monday Night Football, FoxSports, Ford, NASCAR, Smithsonian Channel and others. In 2015, his song “Alive” appeared in both the trailer and end credits for the film “Reach Me,” starring Sylvester Stallone. “Juggernaut,” his hit from his previous band, BAPTIZED BY FIRE, is the theme song for the mega popular “The Movie Crypt” podcast.
Jesse’s 1ST FULL LENGTH SOLO ALBUM, “16”, dropped on September 16th with a music video for his NFL hit “Promised Land” directed by Oscar Nominated Director John Herzfeld.
BONUS, Jesse is also a COMIC BOOK WRITER who has written for some of the world’s biggest publishers, from Marvel to DC Comics, Disney/Pixar and The Muppets and more. And Jesse’s music/comic book project “black light district: 6 issues” was just released by Image Comics to rave reviews from music and comic book fans alike.
“The FANTASIA of comics” can be experienced at the blacklightdistrict.co website featuring all six songs and mini comic books illustrated by industry greats like Chris Burnham, Jason Pearson and Phil Hester for FREE.
Jesse is oldest son of legendary PMRC ax man, Dee Snider, lead singer of Twisted Sister. He’s been featured alongside his famous father on numerous reality shows including, MTV’s “Rock The Cradle,” A&E’s “Growing Up Twisted,” “Celebrity Wife Swap”, “Ultrasound” and many others.
